Dear Abba Father,
I am so grateful to know that thou art a God near at hand: that thou dost guide my steps. As I look back into the years of my life I see nothing but blessings received at thy hand. Looking ahead into the great uncertain I seek & expect that thou wilt prepare me to represent thee well.

My dear Son, James,
Remember that the Lord hath pleasure in the prosperity of His people: hath a vested interest in thy enterprises: hath promised to provide thee with all things needful to this life. By thee shall I bring glory to my name, yea, I shall increase thee more and more, you and your children. No good thing will I withhold from thee if thou wilt walk uprightly. Blessed is the man that trusteth in me.
