If your water level is much deeper you will need a stronger person or build a leveraged pump handle to attach to this well.

To simplify the process for you we offer already assembled Ball Valves to allow you to put together your own Back-up Hand Well Pump without dealing with the more technical aspects of the construction. You simply glue these valves to the ends of the inner small PVC pipe and the outer larger PVC pipe and insert into your well as per the illustrated instructions.

This hand pump will not draw water from a well. It is designed to help you move water from here to there. A strong person can pump water as high as 60 feet. Excellent to have on a boat or anywhere where you need to move water manually. Attach a hose to the pump handle, insert end in water and pump away.
